Throw in DAVID FINCH's art (don't worry he's not writing this one so deadlines should be hit!) and we're willing to bet we've got a winner!...

It stands to reason that the same effort will be put into the titles that are spinning right out of it, like KATANA #1...
The book will be written by Ann Nocenti and drawn by Alex Sanchez, whilst NOCENTI may have picked up some flack for her recent run on GREEN ARROW she's still got a strong portfolio of enough awesome stories behind her to make us think she'll rock this book and the art by SANCHEZ looks simply stunning...

Kicking off with Valkyrie the sword wielding, flying horse riding Asgardian and the bionic armed detective Misty Knight, Valkyrie's been charged with putting together a new team of VALKYRIOR...
And she's got to do it using only the women of Midgard...
Writer CULLEN BUNN and artist WILL SLINEY are going to be adding to the roster as the weeks go by...
BUNN who you may remember was the scribe on FEAR ITSELF THE FEARLESS also starring VALKYRIE is taking his time to build the team and has stated that even after the first arc the team won't be formed completely...
So out goes MATT FRACTION's DEFENDERS that finished all too prematurely on issue #12...
And so starts the FEARLESS DEFENDERS...
