This is it folks… the biggest comic book of 2015 is here! STAR WARS finally makes its epic return to the pages of Marvel Comics, just in time to whet your appetite for the film later this year!
The dust has settled, and Luke Skywalker and the Rebel Alliance have managed what few dared dream was possible. Not only did they manage to launch an offensive on the Galactic Empire’s superweapon – the Death Star – but they actually managed to destroy it! But when you are waging a war for freedom against a force as mighty as the Empire, one major victory for the Rebels is nothing but a minor setback for the Emperor and his fearsome enforcer, Darth Vader.
Follow the exploits of Luke, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca and fan favourites C-3PO and R2-D2 as the Rebel Alliance’s struggle against the power of the Galactic Empire really starts to get going!
With writer Jason Aaron (Original Sin, Scalped, Thor) handling the script, and John Cassaday (Astonishing X-Men, Uncanny Avengers) providing the artwork, there’s a whole number of reasons to get excited about this launch.
Oh, and did we mention that this is the coming home party of STAR WARS at Marvel?
