Well I for one have been waiting for what feels like EVER! for this book to hit the FROG SHELVES...
The return of Kid LOKI, written by Kieron Gillen and art by Jamie McKelvie, yes folks it's time for YOUNG AVENGERS #1 NOW!!!...
Why so excited? Well dear reader let me tell you that Mr Gillen's award winning work on JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY, GENERATION HOPE and his previous team up with Mr McKelvie on PHONOGRAM are all AWESOME books that focus on teenage characters...
So these two have enough previous to shoot YOUNG AVENGERS #1 to the top of your reading list straight off the bat...
And that's before we even start to go into Gillen being responsible for giving the world KID LOKI...
Now LOKI of any incarnation is a FROG loved character, the KID variety LOKI is an incarnation so messed up, tortured, cocky and confused it's just BRILLIANT (Again if you haven't read any of GILLEN's JIM, get out there and beg, borrow, steal it!)... Or just get us to get it for you...
Throw in the rest of the line up including Wiccan, Hulkling, Kate Bishop, Noh-Varr and Miss America and this FROG is willing to bet this book will be one of the supernovas in an already MARVEL NOW! sparkling sky!!!...
If I were to give myself more writing room here I'd also be waxing away about the other big MARVEL NOW! release this week UNCANNY X-FORCE #1 NOW...
But I don't so you're just going to have to buy that one and then tell us how good it is!...
