But then ultimately you may have to pay the biggest price... Your life...
That boys and girls, in a nutshell is the story of THE DOLLAR BILL, a character from the WATCHMEN that we really don't know much about...
We know he was a bank sponsored hero, we know he died trying to stop a bank job and we know from Hollis' writings that he was basically a good guy...
A good guy who just wasn't as tortured as the rest of the WATCHMEN cast...
Or was he? Well folks that's what we're going to find out in BEFORE WATCHMEN DOLLAR BILL #1...
I've been really enjoying the BEFORE WATCHMEN stuff, even if a lot of it is just showing us more of what MOORE and GIBSON gave us all those years ago...
But with this one-shot writer Len Wein and artist Steve Rude have the chance to really tell a new story, other than the name and costume we really don't know DOLLAR BILL...
Wein's doing some really good work on OZYMANDIAS and fitting back into the WATCHMEN groove well (he edited on the original)...
And Rude's art is always something pretty special, so even if you've been avoiding the BEFORE WATCHMEN stuff until now... Maybe this one is the one to try...
Don't worry we won't tell Mr Moore...
